Sophie Says - Wellbeing for the classroom courses
We believe that in a classroom where children have the words to express their feelings and feel confident to do so, those children will be more resilient, more able to solve problems, they will have more empathy for others, and be better able to work collaboratively.
There are two courses available:
A Feeling’s Workshop, created by Esther Marshall, Author of the Sophie Says series, along with Heads Up Kids who are a team of mental health professionals, with over 40 years of experience. The session gives teachers and children the skills and tools for positive mental health and to understand what makes them feel different emotions in a fun and engaging way together with the Sophie Says characters. Perfect for a PHSE or continuous provision session. The programme includes full teacher guidelines, accompanying slides and resources, worksheets and display resources.
Finding Bunny Wellbeing for the classroom is the next stage in the Sophie Says course programme; a 7-week programme put together by mental health professionals and Sophie Says. Finding Bunny is a roadmap to actively work on well-being in the classroom and to create an emotional language in the classroom and school that you will all use well beyond the programme, giving children, teachers and parents the skills and tools for positive mental health. It includes fun and engaging sessions for the children in the classroom that they can use in their everyday life. There are 6 sessions with accompanying teacher guidelines, all activity sheets and resources for each session, accompanying slides for every session to bring the programme to life and there are parent videos after each session
